Hip-hop goddess incarnate Missy Elliott surprised the whole world this morning by dropping a video for her new track “WTF” with Pharrell Williams. It’s amazing. If it was being described by Stefon on Saturday Night Live it might go something like this: “This video has everything. Missy rapping. Les Twins, who have been rocking Beyoncé’s latest tours. Missy with disco ball lips. Lens flares. A Pharrell marionette…” But the best thing it has doesn’t come until the very end, when a group of dancers hop on those two-wheeled self-balancing hoverboard thingamabobs. What’s crazy, though, isn’t that they’re dancing on them—that’s been done before—it’s that they’re breakdancing on them.
