Toronto, Ontario-based trio BadBadNotGood are a jazz group consisting of Matthew Tavares on keyboards and synthesizer, Chester Hansen on bass guitar, and Alexander Sowinski on drums. BadBadNotGood initially attracted attention with their jazz interpretations of hip-hop tracks, leading them to work with artists such as Frank Ocean.

The outfit first came together when the bandmembers met at the Humber College jazz program in Toronto, sharing a love for both jazz and hip-hop. Last month they released the studio album Sour Soul.Sour Soul is a collaborative studio album created by BadBadNotGood and Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah.
