East Coast Travels
Friday, September 14, 2012
Tune in Sunday, September 16th at 5pm ET to catch clips from Jamsterdam's East Coast excursions. The journey began in the Bay of Fundy, home of the highest tides in the world and likely the most cemeteries per capita. Seriously, you could not 5 kilometres without seeing a graveyard. After a few quiet days of camping in New Brunswick, we eventually made our way to the lovely town of Tignish, Prince Edward Island. Tignish is well-known for its moonshine shooters and tire squealing.

Be sure to tune in to catch interviews with some of the funniest east coasters around and avid ghost hunters. Repeats of East Coast Travels can be heard on Monday (Sept 17) and Wednesday (Sept 19) at 6:30pm Eastern standard time which would mean 7:30pm to those on the East Coast.

East Coast Travels

I am back after a one week hiatus on the east coast. My travels took me to New Brunswick and P.E.I. in search of great times and stellar music. I had spent a few days meeting the locals in Tignish, Price Edward Island. Tignish is famous for churches, the moonshine shooters, and tire squealing. I had the opportunity to catch joint smoking, 85 year old, acoustic guitarist Uncle Ernie perform live. Stay tuned this week to catch Retarded Radio on Sunday at 5pm to catch clips from the trip. Upon my return, I came across this video of P.E.I. locals discussing tourism.
