Jersey Girl meets Jersey Boy
Sunday, April 28, 2013

Jersey Girl was back at Cuchulainn's Irish Pub to interview performers and local patrons. She was able to bump into Jersey Boy in Canada and these two Jersey natives did some catching up to the sound of Chris Pozzi on the drums.

Its blast from the past as a Best Of Walz Rantz and The Sound Off are also featured this week. Our #newmusic this week features The Marvelous Beauhunks, River Groves, Zazu Times Two, Social Potion and Dizy.

Tune in daily to Jamsterdam Radio for Jamsterdam Weekly at 6pm-7pm Eastern Standard Time.

Jersey Girl in Canada's Top 10 Fave Tracks- March 2013 Edition
Thursday, March 28, 2013

Hello my sexy readers!

Welcome to the 2nd week of Spring! It may not feel like it right now if you're in Southern Ontario like we are, but have a bit of faith in Mother Nature that she'll stop PMSing and grant us the warm weather we've been longing for!

First of all, I just want to congratulate the main man of your favorite radio station, Mr. Jay Hunt , who was recently interviewed by Hip Hop Rap Sheet based in Sydney, Australia! Great read too! Get to know the man behind the station- check out the whole interview on hiphoprapsheet.com!

I've decided to start something new here where at the end of each month, I type out my top 10 personal overall fave tunes on Jamsterdam Radio that this Jersey Girl has been vibing with all month.

I know there are too many awesome tunes on this station to name, but I believe my list may differ a bit from the already awesome Jamsterdam Top 10, which you can tune into every day at 10am EST and midnight EST.

I'm more of a rock chick than anything, but you'll find a mixture of genres here and there make this list every month, depending on when I tune in and what tunes I hear.

In no particular order, here is my list for March:

1. "Geraldine"- Glasvegas

2. "Soft Exit"- Bike Thiefs

3. "Friend"- Bennett

4. "Give it Up"- Uforia

5. "Back in Town"- Dystonia

6. "The Dead Sea"- The Lumineers

7. "Another One"- The Lad Classic

8. "Habit"- The Movement

9. "For You"- Christopher Pozzi

10. "Postcards"- Zazu Times Two

You wanna potentially make this list AND get your band some worldwide radio exposure on jamsterdamradio.com? Submit your tracks in mp3 form to jamsterdamradio@gmail.com

Have a safe and awesome weekend!

Zazu Times Two - Tell Her Hello
Monday, March 4, 2013

Zazu Times Two hits number one this week on Jamsterdam Radio with "Tell Her Hello" from Zazu's album titled "High On Life." You may have also heard the catchy track when it was featured on The Sound Off with Kev and Jay on CFRU 93.3FM.

"High on Life" is the 2nd collection of tracks from the 22 year old Georgia native Zazu Times Two. His dissimilar delivery from track to track allows the album to flow from start to fin. Instrumentals range from dubbed out remixes of Florence and The Machine to some personally produced tracks by the young master of ceremony. Multiple listens are more than encouraged with his delightfully dense diction.

Album: High On Life Free Download

Tune in daily at 10am and midnight EST to catch the Jamsterdam top 10. Its the top 10 tracks you've never heard.
